While many large Thanksgiving Day celebrations have been called off this year, many are still looking forward to smaller dinners with members of their immediate households. Unfortunately, not everyone is that lucky.

Some folks have no family in our area to celebrate with. Even those who were planning on attending a celebration with a small group of friends that have been in their bubble for the past 9 months might not be able to attend because they have pending COVID-19 test results. (If that's the case, please take time to drop something off for them!)

Thanksgiving might feel kind of tough for people in those situations and that's why we're happy to see so many local businesses to step up to spread smiles in the form of a free Thanksgiving meal for people who could really use one!

Holy Cow | 1226 1st Street South, Nampa

Holy Cow's family is excited to feed you and yours with a hot meal. They'll be giving away traditional Thanksgiving meals to-go from 12-5 p.m. (or while supplies last) on Thursday.

Deja Brew Laugh a Latte | 112 E Idaho Avene, Meridian

Remember those folks that might be stuck at home due to pending COVID tests? Deja Brew might be a great option for them if they live within five miles of the restaurant! They've got a team of volunteers ready to deliver a meal of turkey breast, ham, stuffing, potatoes, vegetables, rolls and a dessert. Pick-up is also available if you're a family who wouldn't have had another way to celebrate if it weren't for a free meal. They just ask that you order ahead HERE and follow the safety protocols when you pick-up!

Mulligans | 1009 W Main St, Boise

Mulligans wants to make sure that everyone in Boise has the opportunity to enjoy a hot plate on Thanksgiving Day, so they'll be handing our free meals on Thursday starting at 2:30. Meals are to-go, but if you're 21+ and you don't want to enjoy your meal alone at home, you're welcome to stay and eat at Mulligans. Donations are accepted, but they're not expecting them.
