YMCA Christmas Run and Costume Contest Goes Virtual; Enter the Costume Contest Now
Get ready to lace up those running shoes for one last virtual race in 2020! Whether you want to go the distance in the 6 mile run, test your speed in the 2 mile run or stroll with the family in the 1 mile Reindeer Dash, there's something for everyone!
The best part about the YMCA Christmas Run going virtual? You can do the race anytime you'd like between December 13-20 and can plot your own course. No searching for parking, no bathroom lines and no standing waiting for soup when you're legs are noodles! If you want to want to pick the warmest day of the week to do your race, do it! If you want to make a course without a giant hill like the traditional course, do it!
And make sure you do it in your best Christmas attire, because the Treasure Valley YMCA is taking the costume contest online! Simply upload your best Christmas contest through the form below by 11 p.m. on Wednesday, December 16. Then check back to vote for your favorite contestants December 17-19! We're looking for the top contenders in the following categories: youth individual, adult individual and group costume!
In true Christmas Run fashion, costume contest winners will receive a beautiful holiday centerpiece from Hillcrest Floral that will be available for pick-up on Monday, December 21!
The YMCA Christmas Run is proudly presented by St. Alphonsus. You can still register by clicking HERE. The first 700 participants will receive Christmas Run Gloves during packet pick-up at McU's Sports on Jefferson, December 17 and 18.
