Idaho Neighbors Helping Neighbors
You know, sometimes the best stories aren’t about celebrities, big money, or world records. Sometimes they’re about a bunch of people showing up with paint brushes and making a difference.

Celebrating the 44th Annual Paint The Town Boise
Nearly 450 volunteers spread out across the Treasure Valley for the 44th annual Paint The Town event. Together, they painted and improved 26 homes for seniors, veterans, and neighbors living with disabilities.

A Treasure Valley Legacy of Compassion and Action
What’s really amazing is that this all started 44 years ago when a group of neighbors in Boise’s Vista neighborhood noticed some homes that needed a little help and decided to do something about it. Since then, more than 3,500 homes have been painted and over 92,000 volunteers have rolled up their sleeves to help.

Heartwarming Stories from This Year’s Paint The Town Boise
There were some pretty special moments this year too. One homeowner, Terri Soule, had volunteers show up to paint her house on her birthday. Another Treasure Valley resident, 74-year-old Kathi Searle, finally got the help she needed after years of knowing about the program but being unable to afford the work herself.

Join Us for Rake Up Boise: Make a Difference!
And here’s the best part… even though Paint The Town is wrapped up for this year, you can still get involved. The 41st annual Rake Up Boise is coming up November 14th, giving all of us another chance to help our neighbors and make a difference right here at home.

Proof that a little paint, a few rakes, and a whole lot of heart can go a long way.
