Depending on what your crafting poison is, DIY projects can get pricy. That's why you never break the cardinal rule of shopping at Hobby Lobby. Don't go in the store without being armed with your 40% off coupon.

Getting your hands on a paper one is as easy as picking up a copy of the weekly ad. It was also available at your fingertips whenever you opened the Hobby Lobby app. The coupon allowed shoppers to take 40% off any regularly priced item and it would be applied to the most expensive item in your order. If you bought some cool things with that coupon in the past, get ready for your discount ride to come to an end.

According to the Krazy Coupon Lady, Hobby Lobby will stop offering this coupon in both print and digital form on February 28. If you get the very last print copy, you'll have two weeks to use it before it expires forever. Apparently eliminating this coupon will allow the craft giant to offer better prices and discounts on a regular basis rather than a one time discount on a single item.

I'm crushed that the coupon is going away before the new Boise Hobby Lobby location finally opens! Right now, there are two Hobby Lobby's in the Treasure Valley. One in Nampa and one in Meridian. I'm far too lazy to live that far when I live much closer to Joann's and Michael's.

A third location is planned for the old Shopko location at Fairview and Milwaukee. Originally, they were planning for a January 2021 opening but it looks like that's been pushed back to March at the earliest.
