Take Your Dog to Happy Hour Today at this Boise Spot

The pups can cool off in a doggie-sized wading pool today, and owners can beat the heat with some ice cold beverages.  This will be a fun "yappy hour!"

The Payette Brewing Company invites us to run home after work to pick up the dog, and then come by the tap room for a Dogapalooza event that might provide the best way to meet people ever.  Dogs are conversation starters and happy hours are great chat opportunities too, and those two things come together this afternoon.

They'll have pale ales and IPAs flowing in the tap room at Payette Brewing Company, and they're planning to set up wading pools for the dogs to splash around in while we're taking care of business with some brews.

Temps will be in the 90s again, and the dogs will probably be happier in those pools than they will be in the back yard.  And if your pug takes an interest in some hot guy's bulldog while you're there, well that may spark a love connection with no Tinder required.  The possibilities are endless.

It's free admission today at the Payette Brewing River Street Taproom, 733 S. Pioneer Street in Boise from 5pm to 9pm.  They'll have a doggie costume contest and dog treats from local vendors, and you'll be around other dog-lovers too.  So if you do make that love connection, you'll have that in common.  Boise is a pretty pet-friendly city, and this is more proof!
