Today, we have a great chance to make a difference across the state of Idaho and an impact to be felt even further.  It's Idaho Gives day, where you can support amazing non-profits.

Spring time, for many of us, means the deep clean of the house, the rebirth of the yard, and this year for me, the clean out of my closet.  I did the big purge.

Non-profit World Relief, based in Baltimore, has announced that they will be closing their Boise office in the near future.  This also means approximately 140 staff will be displaced.

LITE-FM is excited to welcome back the Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure, May 13th, in Downtown Boise.  Join in on the 5k or 1 mile fun run/walk and help a great cause.

People tend to feel generous during the holidays in December, but January can be a rough month for organizations that rely on donations.  Boise's Meals on Wheels program is feeling the pinch, and could use a boost right now.

Are we selfish?  Idahoans don't volunteer time or give as much money as other states do, but we have a chance to change that today.  It's National Giving Day, and that's why you're seeing #GivingTuesday on social media. And See how low Idaho ranks in terms of the most charitable states.  It's not pretty.

Now is the time to clean out the closet, and donate that stuff we don't wear and have been meaning to get rid of. There's a shopping day scheduled for later this month, and the Pop-Up Thrift shop will ultimately help the Treasure Valley homeless population.
