Well after hearing this news, I couldn't help by yell...YIKES. I've read headlines like this before but this time, the warning is hitting a little too close to home for my liking.

Officials from the Central District Health Department are reporting through several news outlets and a press release that there is a confirmed case right here in Boise of Hepatitis A in a food-service worker. The worker was employed at Red Robin on Parkcenter Boulevard (211 West Parkcenter Boulevard, Boise).

Our offices here are the radio station are literally just up the street so naturally, it is always a mentioned option for days that we go out for lunch. The Central District Health Department has released info on when the infected worker was on the job and sure enough, I ate at this location during that time.

Eat at the Red Robin on Parkcenter? Look back through your bank statements and see if you were there on either July 24th, or July 31st through August 7th. If you were, officials warn that you should check up on your immunization records-- hopefully, you've had the vaccine. While contracting Hepatitis A from eating at this Red Robin isn't too likely, those who ate here are encouraged to get the vaccination within two weeks to be safe--IF one isn't up to date on this shot.

Feeling queasy? Symptoms include: stomach pain, dark urine, fever, skin yellowing, fatigue, nausea, and vomiting.
