New Year, New You: Suggested Documentaries To Watch
In support of that "new you" kick you're on, Netflix has released a list of 5 documentaries you should watch in order to be a better you. I'm not so much a documentary person but what's the harm, right?
“I Am” – Tom Shadyac
This is about what ails society and how we can change it.
“The Secret” – Drew Heriot and Sean Byrne
Yes, that Secret. It's about the law of attraction. If you're into it, this would be a good one to watch.
“Hungry For Change” – James Colquhoun and Laurentine Ten Bosch
Secrets about the diet and weight loss industry that we aren't told. We should probably know a little bit about this if we're going to go down this road.
“Blackfish” – Gabriela Cowperthwaite
Captive killer whales. That's what this is about. You an animal lover? An activist? This is so your thing.
“Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey” – Neil deGrasse Tyson
This is probably the most random choice by Netflix. It actually doesn't really go with the whole theme but it's educational. So, I guess, if you're wanting to know more about where we live (as in, the universe) this should be just dandy.
