You may have checked a day trip to Shoshone Falls off your "Idaho Bucket List" but we guarantee you've never seen the falls like this!

Standing 45 feet higher than the most famous waterfalls in North America, Shoshone Falls in Twin is deserving of the nickname "Niagra of the West."  Seeing the Snake River pour over the 212 foot high, 1,000-foot wide rim is breathtaking no matter when you go see it, but this weekend Idahoans have a chance to experience something that's never been done before!

The perfect storm of proper flow for the falls and community support came together for Southern Idaho Tourism to host the first ever Light & Laser show this weekend.  Thanks to their partner, Jayco, hundreds of multicolored lights and lasers will light up Shoshone Falls this Thursday, Friday and Saturday night. The incredible 25 minute display will also be synched to a music soundtrack.

If you'd like to take the trip out there, you'd better get your tickets now! There are only 1,500 available per night of the light show.  Kids tickets are $6 and tickets for those over the age of 12 are $12. If you'd like to sit on the VIP viewing platform, you can buy VIP tickets for $50. Those also include chairs and snacks VIPs.

The light show itself begins at 9:25 p.m., but there will be plenty of activities for the family and food trucks beginning at 8 p.m.
