2 Idaho Cities Ranked As The ‘Friendliest’ In America For 2026
Idaho is one of the friendliest places in America...
One of the biggest draws to Idaho is the people. Oftentimes when people come to visit Idaho the reason they want to move here is because when you're walking down the street it feels like someone's always ready to say hi to you. This doesn't happen just anywhere which is part of the reason why we take so much pride and having one of the best states.
Because of this many people make the move to Idaho and truly... we don't blame them. Even our capital city of Boise is known for how kind truly people are. However, Boise wasn't recognized on this list...

Idaho cities featured on the friendliest cities in America list
Most of the states were featured in this ranking and considering people in Idaho seem very friendly it was a shock to see how low it was on the list. A lot of the time people in Idaho seem both very happy and friendly so to hear that Idaho isn't even near the top 10 for friendliest in in the country is almost unbelievable. But Pocatello and Lewiston were the lucky 2 Idaho cities who even got to be featured on this list!
However it is cool to consider two towns that people wouldn't typically consider to be the friendliest in Idaho have made the list. Check out the full list here.
Idaho is known for other things including our lovely nature scenes. Check out the best parks in the Boise area...
