It's one of the most anticipated events of the entire summer and basketball lovers, both competitive and recreational, look forward to the fun all year long!

It's no secret that there are a ton of things to do in the Treasure Valley over the summer months and frankly, it doesn't matter what you're into: there's something for you!

Twice a year, Boise's own 'Bam Jam' offers the ultimate 3-on-3 basketball experience for local hoop lovers. Once in the spring and once in the summer! The largest event of its kind anywhere in Idaho is quickly approaching.

This year, Idaho's Bam Jam has announced some major changes have been announced that you will want to be aware of.

For the first time ever, the summer 3-on-3 basketball tournament is going to be held...INDOORS.

"Due to the continued poor air quality, we have decided to move the summer BAM Jam indoors to Owyhee High School in Meridian", event leadership wrote in a message to their registrants.

According to Bam Jam, the dates, scheduling, and format is going to be exactly the same. The only difference will be that the tournament is going to be indoors

The dates, scheduling, and format will also remain the same as always. Youth teams will play Friday and Saturday; adult teams will play Saturday and Sunday.

In addition to this change, registration has been extended through this Sunday, August 2nd.

Does a smoke-free and air conditioned summer Bam Jam sound a bit more enticing? Get in there and play!

This Former Nampa Basketball Star is ESPN's Darling

It's not often that you see Sports Center re-run a single play as often as they did last night. The good folks at ESPN could not get enough of the dominating performance by one particular Texas Tech player who left it all on the court. His team defeated Baylor-- the defending National Champion and the only remaining undefeated team in the country this season.
Plot twist, this player has some serious Idaho ties-- with NO offers out of High School, Adonis Arms played in Nampa at Northwest Nazarene University where he gained the skill set and the reputation to make his way up to the big time stage.
