Boise Fire is offering up the perfect opportunity for you to entertain and educate the kids this weekend.

Get up close and personal with the Boise Fire Department

Whether your kiddos need to get out of the house or if you simply want a mini field trip for your homeschooled students, Boise Fire is offering up the perfect family experience this weekend.

In a post that Boise Fire shared on social media, they said:

Come meet your local firefighters, tour the stations, see their equipment/ apparatus, and learn more about firefighting for those interested in a fire service career. We will also have important fire safety information available.

When can we go? Which fire station do we go to?

Three stations are participating including:

Boise Fire Station #4 - 8485 W. Ustick Rd., Boise, ID 83704
Boise Fire Station #14 - 2515 S. Five Mile Rd., Boise, ID 83709
Boise Fire Station #15 - 3676 E. Warm Springs Ave., Boise, ID 83712

Each station's open house will run from 9 AM to 12 PM this Saturday so plan accordingly!

While you're out visiting our firefighters, be sure to thank them for all of the work they've put in during an absurd wildfire season. They head to work, spend countless hours away from their families, and come face-to-face with some of the most dangerous situations.
