How To Turn Off Facebook Video Auto-Play – It’s Using A Ton Of Data

Facebook video auto-play is killing your data. Have you looked at your phone bill? I did and, for the first time, we'd almost hit our maximum data usage for the month. We didn't change anything! Facebook did, though. Here are step-by-step instructions on how to turn off your auto-play. 

iPhone users, I took screen shots of every step so you could easily follow along. Someone had posted this on Facebook a few days ago and I quickly read through it not realizing I needed to change my settings.

STEP 1 - GO INTO SETTINGS AND CLICK THE FACEBOOK ICON

STEP 2 - CLICK ON 'SETTINGS' UNDER THE FACEBOOK ICON

STEP 3 - FIND AUTO-PLAY

STEP 4 - CHANGE YOUR SETTINGS TO "WI-FI ONLY" OR "OFF"
