My husband nearly rolled his eyes out of his heads on when he saw how excited I was when Taco Bell's World Series commercial aired during Monday night football. It announced that their "Steal a Base, Steal a Taco" promotion back for 2020. The rules are simple. If any player on either team steals a base during the World Series, they'll give everyone in America a FREE Doritos Locos Taco to celebrate.

That play came last night during Game 1 when Dodgers right fielder Mookie Betts stole second base in the fifth inning! Now that means that YOU can swing by any Treasure Valley Taco Bell on Wednesday, October 28 to get your free taco!

By the way, this isn't the first time that Mookie Betts was the "Taco Hero." He was the one who earned everyone a free taco back in 2018 when he played for the Boston Red Sox.

In case you were wondering in the past eight years of the promotion the team that gave America the "Taco Hero" ended up winning the World Series six times. If you're a Dodgers fan, that's a sign of good things to come! The currently lead the series 1-0.

Game 2 is tonight at 6:08 p.m. on FOX.
