It's been 411 days since the first confirmed case of COVID-19 was reported in the State of Idaho. While we've always thought those working in healthcare were pretty spectacular, 411 days ago they were elevated to hero status.

Over the past year, our Treasure Valley healthcare heroes have put in long hours, covered extra shifts for their co-workers who'd gotten sick on the job and selflessly put themselves at risk to treat those battling the coronavirus. It's taken a toll on them physically and mentally and that's why one fast food chain wants to do whatever they can to make things easier for those on the front lines of the pandemic.

In this case, it's taking the hassle of preparing a meal off the table. On Thursday, April 29, Chipotle is offering 250,000 free burritos to healthcare workers all over the country including those working at St. Luke's, St. Al's, Primary Heath and all the other fantastic providers in the Treasure Valley.

Listen to Michelle Heart mornings on 107.9 LITE-FM and download the free LITE-FM app to win cash, up to $10,000 with the Payroll Payout!

To secure the free meal, health care workers can click this link starting at 11 a.m. MT to sign-up for one of the first come, first serve codes. When signing up, they will need to confirm that they really are a health care provider by providing a copy of an employee ID. The code can be used anytime before the end of May.
