Avalanche Warning

I haven't seen this the 18plus years we've lived here.  There are avalanche warnings for four counties.  Adams, Gem, Valley and Washington.

When you get a "WARNING" from the National Weather Service, it means it will happen, not if or may but "Will."

Not only are Avalanches possible, but they've happened. With the snow and freezing temps that are coming, it will only get more hazardous.  Carrying Avalanche gear may save your life, but with conditions the way they are, I would either stay on proven trails, go somewhere else, or take a red shirt member of a "Star Fleet Ship."  (Some of you will get that one)

Either way, please use caution and be safe.
