Join Brenda Mee and me as we walk the half-marathon for Boise’s Fit One coming up September 20th.  Yes, you’re reading correctly, a half-marathon which is 13 miles by the way.  I love a good challenge and that’s why I’m committing myself to doing this distance.  You can do it too!

Last year I walked the Portland Marathon which is 26.2 miles with less than four months of training under my belt.  It was one of the hardest things I have done in my life but it was so fulfilling.  I want you to be able to experience the feeling of accomplishment when you cross that finish line at any distance!

107.9 Lite FM has teamed up with Simply Women’s Health to form the Lite FM Walking Warriors.  You don’t have to do the half-marathon, there’s a 10k and 5k as well.  You can run or walk any of these distances.  It’s all about living a happy, healthy life no matter who you are.
