Just last week, we were talking about something unique a lot of comic convention organizers are doing since most of their events have been called off for 2020 due to COVID-19. In addition to offering FREE panels for fans to hear about their favorite fandoms from the stars themselves, they're also offering fans the opportunity to purchase a two minute video chat with their favorite stars from the panel. I'm really excited for the one that Wizard World is offering for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. tomorrow afternoon and if I was braver, I'd probably buy the time with Brett Dalton (who plays Agent Grant Ward) but I'd probably spaz out and say something dumb.

Due to COVID-19, our friends at Camp Rainbow Gold had to call off their biggest fundraiser of the year, the Share Your Heart Ball, just 48 hours before it was supposed to happen. Camp Rainbow Gold is one of our favorite Treasure Valley non-profits. They provide emotionally empowering experiences to Idaho kid going through cancer treatment and their families. They've got a lot of programs to do that, but they're primarily known for their summer camp experiences for not just their oncology campers, but their siblings and families as well. Not being about to have Share Your Heart is a big blow to their fundraising efforts for 2020, so they decided to pivot and come up with something new...an online auction!

One of the items up you can bid on is a One-on-One with Keanu Reeves! If your bid is the winning bid you have 15 minutes to ask him anything you want about Bill & Ted, The Matrix, John Wick, being an actor, producing or his music. Talk about a once in a lifetime experience that you'll NEVER, EVER forget!

That's not the only celebrity experience they're auctioning off! There's also a Zoom concert with Ally Brooke (former member of Fifth Harmony and breakout DWTS star,) an hour long Zoom call with Rob Paulsen (the voice of Pink from Pinky and the Brain and Raphael from the original animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) and an opportunity to pitch your film or TV project to Daniel Lin and the team at Rideback, who was involved with Robert Downey Jr.'s Sherlock Holmes, The Lego Movie and live action remake of Aladdin.
