Time To Get In The Habit Of Ten-Digit Dialing

We've been warning you it's coming, and it's getting closer:  Ten-digit dialing.  Instead of our traditional seven-digits throughout the state, we're going to have to include area code. 

Our beloved and trustworthy 208 area code will be joined by 986 and area code inclusive dialing will be required starting August 5th.  Between now and then, you can dial with our without area codes, and your calls will go through.

Idaho is one of the few states who were able to hold out on ten-digit dialing as long as we have, but with cell phones and additional technology, we've simply run out of 208 numbers.
