It's hard to believe that Christmas is less than a month away. In a year where you would think we would be bored and that days would seem like years, the Holidays have appeared to sneak upon us. One thing that 2020 has left us void of seems to be Christmas Spirit. It's hard to be joyful when so many people are dealing with so many issues. Maybe this is the kind of year where Christmas Spirit isn't going to find us. Instead, this year we need to seek it out on our own. There are places right here in Idaho where you may have a better chance of finding it than others. Here is a list of road trips that you can take from the Treasure Valley on your quest to find your Christmas Spirit.

Coeur d'Alene Resort

Usually, the Coeur d'Alene Resort does it up big with a Christmas Tree larger than the one in Rockefeller Center in New York City. This year due to COVID restrictions, most of the events are canceled. That said, you can still see the lights and take a cruise to the North Pole!

McCall Christmas House

McCall isn't only about the Winter Carnival. It's also about Christmas all year long. McCall is home to the largest year-round Christmas store in the state! It's called The Christmas House.

Cascade

The Cascade Christmas experience will be a little different this year, but there is still plenty of fun to be had. In addition to the incredible views, the Ashley Inn always leaves milk and cookies. You can also hop on a sleigh and see the Elk in their natural environment. Book your sleigh ride HERE.
