With JUMP hosting dozens of fun community events like Capes and Crowns "Royal Winter Ball," Illumibrate and silent discos, more people in the Treasure Valley are discovering exactly what Jack's Urban Meeting Place actually is.

"So what exactly is JUMP anyway?" used to be one of the of the biggest mysteries in Downtown Boise, closely followed by "Is the slide at JUMP ever going to open?"  A deep dive into the Idaho Statesman's latest article about the slide revealed that there's been a handful of Treasure Valley residents who've been enjoying the slide since last year!

When we toured JUMP in 2016, our tour guide told us the staff would need to complete a series of test rides to determine the safest ways to use the five story spiral slide.  Once that testing was complete, they invited kids from the YMCA, Boys & Girls Club and Treasure Valley schools to give it a shot and their expert reviews.  Getting a thumbs up from the kids and staff members who got to be part of those test rides, JUMP has been quietly letting the public ride the slide during First Thursday since last summer.

Feel left out because you didn't know?! Yeah, us too! The good news is, you won't have to wait much longer for your chance to ride. According to the the Statesman, JUMP welcomes the public to take a ride Thursdays from May-October from 6-8 p.m. or Saturdays from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. beginning in June.

Rides are 100% FREE.
