We can't lie. We really missed summer baseball at Memorial Stadium, but we LOVED that the Boise Hawks have done everything they could to make a day at the ballpark fun!

The Park at Memorial Stadium was a concept that the organization floated out to the Treasure Valley mid-May. It was a simple vision - turn Memorial Stadium into an open air restaurant that serves fan's favorite game day foods. We're talking everything from Hawk Dogs and Polish Sausage to Finger Steaks and Boise Burgers. They got great feedback and opened over Memorial Day Weekend.

Hubby and I did a date night there that very first weekend at loved it. They had live sports on the jumbotron, high top tables on the field and were letting kids play in the outfield. It all happened in a safe, physically distanced setting with COVID-19 protocols in place.

The Park had to take a brief hiatus when Ada County dropped back to Stage 3, but decided to give it another go and re-open on August 19. Since their reopening they've added some really fun events like karaoke, line dancing and cornhole tournaments.

They just announced their latest series of events - a trivia night with Last Call Trivia! It happens on Saturday nights through Halloween (weather permitting.) It's free to play and the top 3 teams will be awarded prizes at the end of the night!

So start thinking of who your brainiest friends are, huddle them up and plan on being at the park by 6 p.m. the night you want to play!
