There's no doubt that the Tavern at Bown Crossing is the go to dinner spot in Southeast Boise, but it's looking to make it's move into Downtown Boise!

The Owhyee Tavern Steak & Sea is moving into The Owyhee building on Main Street and will host their grand opening on Saturday, October 8th.  Owned and operated by the same people behind the Bown Crossing location, it'll take over the 5,500 square foot restaurant space that was once occupied by The Game Keeper.

According to the Idaho Statesman, the major difference between the Owyhee Tavern and the Tavern at Bown Crossing is that the downtown location will not have a sushi bar.  They'll focus on more on steaks and fresh seafood, but if you love the Tavern's sushi don't be too bummed.  There will be a less extensive sushi on the new menu which we're still waiting to get a look at! A check of their new website shows the menu page is still under construction.

You'll be able to find it HERE when it's complete.  That's also where you want to head to book your reservations for the October 8th opening!
