Take Your Kids to Michael’s Free Glitter and Slime Event This Memorial Day Weekend

If you and your family are planning on staying home this Memorial Day weekend, you’ll probably be looking for something fun to do with the kids. Sure cookouts and swimming at Roaring Springs are fun, but here is a free event that’s sure to keep your kids entertained over the entire Memorial day weekend and beyond…and the best part, it’s free.

This Saturday, May 26 Michaels craft store in Boise is holding a free Glitter Slime Event.from 1-3 p.m

You do not need to preregister and supplies will be provided, included the pre-made slime! I know this is for kids only, but this is sounding like a whole lot of fun to me too. I mean, after all, who doesn’t love slime?

In addition to the Glitter and Slime making event, your kids can also take part in a flamingo craft project that your kids can take part in while you shop.

For just $2, kids 3 and up can enjoy a quick paper project and for $5, kids age 6 and older can make a bit more complicated flamingo. You will need to sign up for these events also, so you might want to plan ahead right now to take part with your kids.

In addition, Michaels will also kick off Camp Creativity starting June 11. These are one-hour sessions that run from 10 am until noon every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from June 11th through July 27th.

And the cost is affordable. Kids ages 3 and up, is $3 per one-hour session (including supplies) and for kids ages 5 and up, it’s $5 (supplies included) per one-hour session.
