After the haunt hosted a Friday the 13th even in conjunction with the Idaho Halloween and Horror Convention this summer, we're shocked by the news.

On Monday, Nyah's Haunted Woods announced via Facebook that they will not return for a 2021 season. According to the post, the decision came down to concerns for public health, scheduling, permitting and restructuring of the property. During its previous seasons, Nyah's Haunted Woods operated at Twin Oaks Farm in Eagle.

The haunt that incorporated an "actual living haunted house" into the journey through their attraction. Per the legend of the haunt on their website, this was once a boneyard and it's possible that over 400 vagrants remains ended up there. In 2017, a secret critic came through Nyah's Haunted Woods, gave it a 4.5 star rating and the distinction of being the best haunted attraction in the Treasure Valley.

If you're bummed you didn't get to experience it for yourself, you'll get the opportunity to. You'll just have to wait another year. In the announcement, they announced that they are planning a bigger and better return in 2022.

As for the other fall activities at Twin Oaks Farm? Those are still a "go." Their fall season is already underway and they're open daily from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. through Halloween.  Twin Oaks offers family friendly activities like horse rides, tractor rides, animal experiences, a straw tower and corn crib for no admission fee. As a working farm, they ask that if you enjoy their fall activities you'll consider supporting them by buying a pumpkin from their pumpkin patch.

It also appears that the Lowe Family Farmstead in Kuna has quietly done away with their haunted attraction, The Field of Screams. It no longer appears anywhere on their website. So, the Treasure Valley is down two haunted locations this year.

However, Haunted World and Requiem are both up and running for 2021. You can check out the detail about their seasons below or click HERE to read about a road-trip worthy trip to the Haunted Mansions of Albion.
