Major League Pitcher Cody Allen will be visiting Idaho this Saturday.  Allen, along with his wife Mallory, will be visiting the Treasure Valley, but they won't be talking baseball.  The couple is visiting Idaho for a more important message that they will share with Gem State Residents.

The Allens our flying to Idaho be the featured speakers at the It Is Well Banquet Saturday Night at the Central Valley Baptist Church in Meridian. The event is to support David's Hope Pregnancy Loss Ministry.

The ministry's mission is to support families who've lost children through miscarriages or other loses. The Cody and Mallory will share their story Saturday beginning at 6:30pm.

"It's something like pregnancy loss, or child loss, or miscarriage it affects everyone," Allen shared. "It's one of those things that not a lot of people talk about, what a doctor told us welcome to the biggest club that no one talks about.

The Allens are looking to help others by talking about their story and ease the pain of someone who is going through the grieving process.

Allen shared his advice on how to get through a loss of a child. He says that you should surround yourself with others and will help you get through the tough times.

Cody and Mallory's haven't visited Idaho before this trip. He expressed his excitement about flying out West. "We've never been to Idaho, and we look forward to our first trip to Idaho.  We look forward to being a part of this group and helping whenever we can."
