There's no better day at 107.9 LITE-FM than when we can give you an amazing update on one of our past Christmas Wish recipients!

Sunday morning, I was scrolling through Instagram when I saw our friend Maggie O'Mara share a preview of the 7's Hero story she was working on for KTVB. I instantly recognized the cute little girl with a million smile in her video! It was none other than Lilah Bryson who family friend, Angie, introduced us to during Christmas Wish 2018.

That year was full of some incredibly high-highs for the Brysons who found out that Lindsay was expecting the couple's fourth child just before the holidays. Unfortunately, the year was full of some low-lows as well. Just 17 weeks into Lindsay's pregnancy, the family found out that their youngest child, Lilah, was suffering from Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.

Angie tipped us off, that things had gotten really rough for Lilah and her parents where feeling really overwhelmed by juggling Lilah's treatments with the arrival of the new baby while making sure their two oldest sons weren't left out. She also mentioned, that Lilah was a very big fan of a certain Snow Queen from Arendelle that we just so happened to have on speed dial. We couldn't wait to load up our Christmas Wish sleigh and surprise her! You can see that special moment below:

We're happy to tell you that after 797 days of treatment, Lilah has completed her final round of chemo and has beat Leukemia! Her entire neighborhood showed up to celebrate that special moment with the Brysons and you can see it all in Maggie's 7's Hero story.
