Holy Cow! Idaho Police Have An Unusual Overnight Encounter
We've said it before, and we'll say it again: ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN IN IDAHO! We've seen some pretty unusual stories over the years and some funny ones. Recently, police added another story to Idaho's unique lore with an unusual overnight encounter.
Boise & Garden City Police Join Forces For An Unusual... Job?
Imagine having an unpredictable job that could have you protecting lives, putting your life on the line one moment, and herding animals the next.
No, seriously - this actually happened and it's probably one of the most Idaho things ever.

In a recent post shared by the Boise Police Department, we see a bizarre video showing officers putting in work in the middle of the night... herding cows.

"Oh you know, just Idaho things!" Boise Police wrote.
"Last week with the help of Garden City Police, a few of our night shift officers helped escort about a dozen Black Angus cows back home, after they made some early morning moooves, escaping from a small farm near Fairview and N. Kimball St."
Who would've thought it'd be the cows causing chaos on the streets of Boise in the middle of the night?
The best part of the video they posted on Facebook is how nonchalant the officers are as they guide the cows through the streets of Boise - it's almost like they've done this before!
Shout out to our officers for always being willing to keep us safe... and for playing cattle herder in the middle of the night.
