News out of Salt Lake City this morning is that the Idaho Stampede, who are owned by the Utah Jazz, are moving from Boise to Salt Lake City next year.

Saturday night was the final game of the season for the Stampede, though in the end, it may be the final game of the Stampede's time in Boise.

Sources have confirmed to Salt Lake City's Deseret News that the team will move to Utah next season and undergo a name change.  The leading name at this point is the Salt Lake Stars.

I know many of us will miss having the team here.  They have been really fun to watch this year.
