If You Don’t Like Camping Why Not Try Idaho Glamping
I love to camp, but I hate to rough it. My Idea of roughing it is not having room service. Forget the crappy tent and sleeping bag and bugs ewww..who needs it. But did you know Idaho has a bunch of glamping options? You know camping that's glamorous...even luxurious in some cases
If you are like me and hate sleeping on rocky uneven ground or a blow up mattress that won't stay blowed up or struggling to stay warm during one of Idaho’s chilly summer nights These Idaho “glampgrounds” might be just the ticket.
Some glampgrounds even offer queen-sized beds, hot tubs, Television, WiFi internet connections, heated rooms, and extra amenities to transform an ordinary uncomfortable camping trip into a first class home away from home in the wilderness....
One such glamping option is in North Central Idaho, not far from where I grew up outside of Kamiah, in Kooskia, Idaho. It's called the River Dance Lodge and the Glamping Tents are to die for...with beautiful King size beds, a claw foot outdoor tub, a pot belly stove, hardwood floors and more. There's even a cafe on site that serves amazing gourmet meals, so you never have to leave the property or cook for yourself.
Another glamping experience is located in North Idaho near beautiful Sandpoint Idaho...it's the Huckleberry Tent and Breakfast
If you'd like an adventure, rafting and floating on an Idaho river, try a rafting and glamping adventure with Far and Away Adventures. Raft in some of the best whitewater by day...and camp in pure luxury by night..with gourmet food and drinks served each night around the camp fire...
