How would you like to receive a 4% pay raise?  If you're a member of the Idaho Legislature, you just did.  However, it might be less than you think.

The Citizens Committee on Legislative Compensation has raised state lawmaker salaries by 2% each year until 2018.  That means annual pay would move from $16,680 to $17,350 per year.

No one is getting rich serving in the Idaho Legislature.  The last pay raise was in 2014, and this change will go into effect unless the Legislature rejects it.  That would seem to be highly unlikely.
