I know, I know, we work hard to convince friends around the country that we're not just about fields of potatoes in the Treasure Valley.  We are, but it's also important in our state. 

This year, Idaho potato growers are saying that if the early season varieties are an indication, they 2016 crop looks to have good yields and the perfect size profile.  Some experts in the field are warning there is an elevated threat of something called zebra chip.  That's a disease that causes discoloration during frying.
