Out tuning up for FitOne or getting ready for the Sue B 5K benefiting the WCA?  You may see this guy on your run or walk?

A Channel 2 viewer sent in this photo of a bobcat on the paved Greenbelt section on the east side of the river between the Baybrook Court orange bridge and the walking only Bethine Church River Trail.  This section of the Greenbelt isn't far from Parkcenter and River Run.

Don't panic if you see him.  Bobcats aren't mountain lions.  Bobcat attacks on humans are rare.  If they approach you or act aggressive, they're like ill or possibly infect with rabies. Bobcats are common in the Treasure Valley and they're pretty shy.

Have you seen a bobcat in Boise? If so, send us a picture or story on our Facebook page HERE!
