Bill To Prevent Sanctuary Cities In Idaho Proposed

There has been a lot of discussion in the news lately about immigration, deportation, and sanctuary cities.  A bill has proposed in State House to prevent sanctuary cities in Idaho. 

Representative Greg Chaney of Caldwell (R) has proposed a bill that would direct law enforcement officers in Idaho to disregard any sanctuary city policies any cities enact.

Currently, Idaho does not have any sanctuary cities, so Chaney says this is preemptive move.  The bill would not allow law enforcement to act outside of probable cause and, he says, is not specifically targeted at any specific group.
