Kevin Mee co-hosts the Kevin & Brenda Mee in the Morning Show on 107.9 Lite FM from 5:30 to 10:00 AM with the “love of his life,” Brenda. Kevin started entertaining in church when he was five years old and, when he was fifteen, played music on weekends in clubs with his brother. When his promising baseball career was cut short by an injury to his shoulder, he became a professional musician, actor and comedian. He spent time in Los Angeles and Nashville playing in some bands. In 1983, Kevin got into radio, met Brenda while hosting a Radio Night at a local club and it’s been a romantic 80s movie ever since. He and Brenda have worked together from Denver to Cheyenne, Deadwood to Boise, and have fifty years of combined radio experience together. Kevin says the Treasure Valley is the best place he’s ever been. Their goal every morning is to entertain and inform people as they start their day and especially to make a positive impact on people’s lives and the community.

Missing Summer, Watch This
Our grandson Emery is a breath of fresh air. Whenever I'm feeling like a grouch, he can take that feeling away in nano-seconds. If you are missing summer, here is a video from a couple of years ago. Emery, or M as I call him, got to hold the water hose for the first time and it was priceless...
Sarah Palin Endorses Trump
Sarah Palin has come out and endorsed Donald Trump for President. For those of you who want to catch just the highlights, I managed to take twenty some minutes and crunch it down to a minute and a half. Now mind you, I did take some liberty with Sarah, who I enjoy very much...
Griz the Faithful Poodle
For those of you who don't know, poodles pick their favorite human. You don't pick them. You can try, and did Brenda ever try with Griz the poodle in this video. When Griz was born Brenda decided she wanted a white male poodle to be hers. She even put a pink mark in his ear so she knew which one he was. She would snuggle him, feed him, love him up every chance she could.
Take It Easy Glenn
I got the news of Glenn Frey of the "Eagles" passing away last night about 7, and for some reason, it really hit me. I spent over 10 years as a musician, traveling with groups and on my own, playing dive bars to concerts with thousands of people. I got to play with some of the greatest musicians of the late 70's early 80's as some sort of backup, or in one really cool case, just jammin'
Blue Monday Is Here
Today is Blue Monday, considered the gloomiest, most depressing, crummy, saddest, grinding, well maybe not grinding, day of the year. This is the day the bills hit the mail, and you realize that there isn't a real holiday for awhile. The weather is usually cold, wet, the sun is limited, the Christmas bills are coming in and there isn't any Monday Night Football...
How to Save $500.00 at the New Meridian Interchange
When I go to work out at Axiom, I take the Meridian exit off I-84. When you take either off-ramp to get to Meridian road, take notice that you can no longer turn right on red. For the last 18 years that I've been here, you could make that turn on red, but no more, and that's throwing drivers...
My Life With Cancer (The Whole Story)
Tuesday night during the "State of the Union" address, President Obama pushed for researchers to find a cure for Cancer. Since 2005, I've had and have cancer. I have a form of Lymphoma that is incurable. I've fought it without chemotherapy even though I was told I would be dead within a year without chemotherapy...
If Your Office Pool Wins
Just got off the phone with David Workman from the Idaho Lottery and found out a few things just in case you have a group win the Powerball drawing.
What I Would Do With $1,500,000,000
Brenda and I have conversations about what we would do with $1,500,000,000 if we won the Powerball drawing. Aside from the annuity, or taking the lump sum, what would I do?
Where Did “BLOG” Come From
We do these online articles also known as blogs. So I got to wondering, what the heck is a blog? An actual blog is supposed to be a reverse chronological online post. OK, whatever.
Then I got to wondering where did the word blog come from...
