Sure, Idaho has been featured in books, movies, and music forever. Still, there's another medium that Idaho has been featured in. Movies might make Idaho look amazing, books make people think about moving here, and music makes us sound good. Still, nothing makes Idaho cooler than a video game. Believe it or not, Idaho has been the setting for five different video games. Not all of them were blockbusters, but still, when you can set a game anywhere, real or not, the fact that there are multiple video games set here, is quite a statement.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six (1998)
In the eighth mission of this game, Twin Falls is the Phoenix Group's location (the bad guys) where the Rainbow team (the good guys) goes to take them out.

Resistance 2 (2008)
Set in 1953, Twin Falls is again under siege, or at least it's about to be. Early in the game, it's your job to defend the Gem State before it all starts going downhill all over the country.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Shadow Vanguard (2011)
This is the sequel to the original Rainbox Six game. In the sixth mission of this version game, The Phoenix Group is back. This time they're running a secret lab about 30 miles from Twin Falls.

American Truck Simulator (2016)
The most recent video game to be set in Idaho is this truck simulation game. When the game was initially released in 2016, you could only drive in Nevada and California. Still, they have released more and more states over time. Idaho, specifically Boise, was released to the game in November of last year.
