I watched this video and loved every moment of it especially after knowing beforehand how it all came about:

Scot Pankey, is not an actor or professional dancer....he is a theater teacher at A Maceo Smith New Tech High School in Dallas, Texas.   According to Mr. Pankey it is a project-based school and that means you give the students a project, put them in teams and they have to come up with solutions. They get three weeks to work on their projects then they present them as a group along with what they learned.

The kids decided for their most recent project to do a video for Bruno Mars' song "Uptown Funk" and invited their teacher to be a part of the project.

The entire video was planned/directed and filmed by students in one take after school was over for the day.  I think this teacher deserves an A+ not just for his dancing skills but also for inspiring and motivating his students!

The YouTube video has been seen more than 3 million times since it came out January 24th.   Bruno Mars was so impressed and touched by the video after he saw it that he tweeted out that it made him cry.
