You're still not exactly sure exactly what a Yurchenko Double Pike Vault is, but you've gotten goose bumps every single time you've watched the clip of gymnastics G.O.A.T. Simone Biles nail it in competition. How about seeing it with your own two eyes?!

You may just get that opportunity when Simone brings a totally star studded line-up of Olympic and championship gymnasts to Boise's ExtraMile Arena on Friday, October 1 as part of the Athleta Presents "Gold Over America" Tour!

What makes seeing Simone and her friends perform at a show like this different than watching them on one of the biggest stages in sports? A show like this takes the pressure of competition off and allows these women to not just perform for the love of the sport, but to inspire girls and young women in sports. Yes, you'll see the gravity defying skills that have you on the edge of your seat while you're watching them on television but you'll also get to hear from the athletes about how women supporting women, body image, mental health awareness and self-confidence play into their lives both inside and outside of competition.

For those of you who follow Simone, you know that she's used her platform to advocate for all of those things. She's bravely opened up about how broken she felt as one of the victims in the Larry Nassar sexual abuse case and expressed how much talking to other survivors helped her realize that the horrific experience does not define her as a woman or athlete. When she landed the cover of Vogue, she talked about the change Black Lives Matter has started to create, shutting out negative comments about her appearance and overcoming anxiety.

The struggles that Simone faced aren't unique to just her. So many young women, both in and out of sports, face the same struggles every day and that's why she assembled this strong group of athletes to share help empower others through their experiences and performances.

The all star line-up includes fellow Olympian and Dancing with the Stars champion Laurie Hernandez and NCAA National Champion and viral sensation Katelyn Ohashi.

I saw a show similar to this after the Athens games and if you've ever found yourself GLUED to the Olympic gymnastics coverage, don't let this opportunity to see these athletes in person pass you by. It's part gymnastics, part pop concert, lots of eye-popping visuals and a whole lot of building memories that will last a lifetime!
