Off-Leash Dog Program Starts in Boise on Friday

Dogs of the Treasure Valley rejoice! Off-leash programs are starting at two different Boise parks on Friday!

Ann Morrison Park and Optimist Youth Sports Complex will become off-leash areas to drive the geese away, which will prevent long-term damage and address health and safety concerns.

All areas will be off-leash from sunrise to sunset, except for Boise River Greenbelt paths, parking lots, roads, and playgrounds.

According to an article on KTVB, the program runs through the end of February and owners need to remember that you are still responsible to pick-up after your pet.
