Vlogger Ranks Boise’s Top Bars in Hilarious Street Survey [Video]

When it comes to nightlife in the Treasure Valley--where are people going?

For years, the default answer was downtown Boise. As our area has grown, however, we're seeing the likes of downtown Meridian get its own nightlife scene and bars are popping up in places that long time locals aren't used to seeing!

Downtown Boise has new bars, re-branded bars, and long-time local treasures. Take Cactus Bar, for example, who has been in business longer than any other! For generations!

A YouTuber took to the streets of Boise to ask some random locals: where are the best and worst places to go? There's a clear favorite and some funny responses to check out.

Which bars do you think people loved--and which do you think people weren't so fond of? This is just a glimpse of random reactions from the featured video:

It's clear that people love more than they hate! 

By the way-- all of the bars that some folks said they did NOT like are eventually redeemed by others who say they love them. Oh, the classic street survey.

At the end of the video, however, the winner is clear. Only one bar was mentioned as frequently and as favorably as the downtown Boise staple--tucked away in an obnoxious basement...

It doesn't matter what night of the week it is, expect to see a line or see some commotion going on outside of the popular country bar that houses downtown Boise's only (and arguably Idaho's most famous) electric bull.

Purple Viking shots and AMF's can be seen as far as the eye can see, as well.
