My fiance and Old Chicago bartender have been in a war over this game for months, but the real winner is a downtown Boise street artist.

If you're not familiar with "The Circle Game" it is the dumbest thing in the entire world.  Basically the game is played by one player making the "ok" sign with their fingers below the waist.  They try to trick somebody else to look at it and if they do, that person is the loser and gets punched in the shoulder. The first time Nate and Bud started playing that game during lunch, I looked at them like they were crazy. I'd never heard of the game before, but apparently it's been around for ages.  Back in 2000, Malcom in the Middle themed an entire episode around it.

The game's popularity was revitalized by short videos of the "ok" sign going viral on Facebook.  The most notable of those videos is a pancake artist making what looks like a "poop emoji" pancake only for it to be the "ok" sign when the unseen chef turns the pancake over.

See what I mean? Dumbest game ever, but it's all over the place now...including in Downtown Boise.  While Diablo and Sons on the corner of 8th and Idaho is under construction, local graffiti artists have had the chance to put their mark on the boards surrounding the construction zone.  We found evidence of "the Circle Game" there on Sunday afternoon. I face palmed.  Nate celebrated. ::rolls eyes::
