It looks like plans are being finalized for construction to begin on two new stores in what will become Linder Village on the corner of  Linder Rd. & Chinden Blvd. in Meridian.

Signs that the stores will be arriving soon are already posted at that corner in a vacant farm land lot.

And if the two stores weren’t enough for you, they will be located directly across from the newest Fred Meyer store built in Meridian just a few years ago.

According to BoiseDev, Earlier this year, Meridian Press reported a meeting between the developer and city officials - in which reps for Costco and WinCo both attended.

Next to the WinCo store would be a variety of small retail shops, plus space for a medium sized box store retailer. A pair of future drive-thru buildings are also noted in the plan.

Closer to the intersection, the plans show a mixed-use office and retail environment.

If the plans are indeed true and come to fruition, it will mark the third WinCo location for the Boise based company in Meridian and it will be the 9th store, total in the Treasure Valley.

The new Costco, if built would be the third Treasure Valley location…They include a location at Cole Road in Boise across from the Imax Theater and another location in Nampa off exit 33A.
