'Tis the season of shopping!

As if the holidays weren't stressful enough, now we have to deal with supply chain shortages. Much of what you want to buy later this year could be unavailable since it is most likely stuck on a boat in either the Pacific of Atlantic ocean right now.

So, we're being asked to shop early.

Side note: American made goods probably won't be delayed or unavailable so here's another reason who you should shop small and local.

In an effort to both encourage us to shop and capitalize on early spending, several of the biggest retailers out there are offering Black Friday deals well before the big day. This is great news since many of us wait until after Thanksgiving to shop in order to prevent paying full price.

These early deals could end up working out well for us because if we get the shopping down before Thanksgiving, then we can actually enjoy the season. I know, it's easier said than done. But wouldn't it be nice to be present with your loved ones without thinking of the millions of things you should be doing instead?
