Mother's Day is this Sunday, May 13! Have you figured out what to get mom yet?

According to the USA Today, Americans will spend about $180 on Mother's Day gifts in 2018.  Now before you have a stroke when you see that number, keep in mind that's not how much a single individual is spending on just their mom. People also shop for their wives, daughters, and grandmothers on this special day.

I only shop for my mom and for the last few years I've ordered her flowers through the internet.  I've used online services like ProFlowers and 1-800-Flowers and a local florist in her neighborhood.  All the arrangements were beautiful and typically they worked out to $50-60 after delivery.  Not cheap, but it's not breaking the bank either.

But do you really need to spend that much on your mom this Mother's Day? We polled our listeners and it turns out what the REALLY WANT for Mother's Day is FREE (plus the cost of a few cleaning supplies.) According to real Treasure Valley moms, the best gift you can give them is a deep clean of their homes!

Yes, it's really that simple.  Kristina McDaniel added that her family must think she's kidding when she asks for a clean house from top to bottom because it's never happened...even though she asks for it every year.  She's most definitely not kidding.

Other answers on our list included more of the simple things like a day without the kids fighting with each other, flowers that they can plant instead of ones that will die in a week and Dutch Bros cards.
