For those who have lived here in the 50s and earlier they may have known the area to have a different name. Before 1959 it was usually referred to as the Lower Snake River Valley or the Boise River Valley.

This young woman from Star is setting a great example to young women everywhere. She has been working hard and competing since she was 12. Kylee is also the daughter of one of the owners of Kryptek Outdoor Group based in Eagle.

I was surprised with where some cities ranked and how others were not on the list at all. While I started with the top 20 I felt it was important to add Boise which made it to #23 on the list of best places to retire in Idaho.
