One minute she was doing her homework and playing, and within an hour or two she was complaining of being cold and achy, so I took her temperature. It was 104.4! What happened next taught me something.

The flu is hitting humans hard right now, and our dogs are not immune. I think my dog, Libby, has come down with something so I've come up with some signs we can all watch for. Canine Influenza is highly contagious!

There are at least 12,000 new cases of the flu each week across the country, but Idaho is much healthier it turns out.  So how much longer will flu season last?

I don't get a flu shot for two reasons.  One, it can compromise my cancer and the second is, I found something that will knock it out of my system within a few days.
