Specific Date Identified as Worst Shopping Day for Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, nothing better than sitting around the table with friends and family enjoying way too much food. Although before we ever make it to the table lots of time and effort must be put in to create the food and take the time to shop for everything.

The Daily Meal has just identified the worst day to shop for Thanksgiving, it's the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, Tuesday, November 26th.

While most people think it would be the day before Thanksgiving, but it's actually the Tuesday because as most people know by the time Wednesday evening rolls around, lots of grocery store shelves have already been picked over.

The best time to buy your turkey and necessary ingredients is a week or so prior to Thanksgiving. It gives you plenty of time to double check and make sure you have all the ingredients needed to put together the big meal.
