Pay It Forward Monday

The day didn’t start off so great as the dog ate my retainer.

I just brushed it off as “another Monday blues event” but little did I know, my day would change for the better.  After dropping my oldest off at summer camp, I decided to treat myself to a Starbucks latte.

When I hit the drive thru window at the Broadway Starbucks, the woman told me the driver in front of me had paid for my drink.  Whoa!  A big smile hit my face and my day turned around.  I asked the barista if she would please ring me up for the person behind me.  I wanted to pay it forward to and get in on the fun!

I want to start a trend on Monday’s called Pay It Forward Monday.  Find something nice to do for someone, whether it’s putting a flower on your co-workers desk or buying a latte for a perfect stranger we could change the world one good deed at a time!
