Moving to Boise

I had lived in the same town and the same house in Rainier, Washington until I moved to Boise to go to Boise State University three years ago. It was a hard transition for me. When my parents left my dorm room, I cried for three days. I almost made them drive me home that weekend, but once they forced me to try it for two weeks, I never wanted to leave.

I love Boise! I have experienced a lot since I have been here. I went to my first football game, made life long friends, signed my first lease, and found my love......of froyo. The weather is awesome. It barely rains here compared to Washington. There is sun more than three months out of the year.

I am so glad I decided to stay and not go back to my small town. I would have missed out on so many opportunities as well as a great education.
