Michelle Heart Cam: Race for the Cure 2018
When we challenged you to show up in your pink, you ladies (and guys) went above and beyond!
I don't think we could've asked for a better morning for the 2018 Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Boise! This year the Boise race celebrated its 20th anniversary and we were so honored to be walking alongside survivors, forever fighters and the family members/friends who love them.
If you've lived in the Treasure Valley, you know that on any giving weekend there's a handful of road races and 5Ks that you can choose to do, but Race for the Cure has always been one of the most important ones in our community? Why? Because 75% of the net proceeds from today's race stay here in the Gem State to help uninsured or underinsured women get mammograms that could save their lives through early detection! It provides a lot of resources to Idaho breast cancer patients, as well. The remaining 25% goes to fund national research so that we can one day find a cure for breast cancer!
Here's some of the photos I took today! We hope to see all of you again for FitOne on September 22!
